WEST VANCOUVER DISTRICT – COVID-19 Updates
Effective immediately, the District of West Vancouver has declared a State of Local Emergency. Read full press release here.
Facility Closures / Reduced Hours at Municipal Hall
Municipal Hall, the West Vancouver Police Station, all Fire Halls, the Operations Centre and the Capilano View Cemetery will remain open but with limited public access.

B.C. schools closed indefinitely – The province said it is immediately shutting down classes at all of B.C.’s schools. Education Minister Rob Fleming said they were closed “indefinitely,” but the province will guarantee that students will graduate.

B.C. officials mandate shut down of ALL Personal Service establishments – B.C. Provincial health officer Dr. Bonnie Henry issued a new order for the province on March 21 to shut down all personal service establishments until further notice, such as hair and nail salons, spas, massage and tattoo parlours, in order to help slow the spread of COVID-19.
